This is the best local bar and restaurant in South Bend. Great home cooked food and deserts. The most friendly and capable server around.

Fun place. Decent beer list. Menu is very unhealthy. Nothing for vegetarians. Fish and chips were very good. Husband had stuffed cabbage and love it. Music was loud. Band was okay, not great, but I'm a full-time musician living in Chicago so I wasn't expecting much. We left shorty after music started since we couldn't talk.

Favorite bar in South Bend. Simieri's is nestled in a neighborhood on South Bend's South side away from Notre Dame. In the summer, they have corn hole and live bands in the courtyard area adjacent to the main bar. Very mellow place to grab a beer without all the huss and fuss.

Off the beaten path and situated in a neighborhood on the South Side is a family-owned bar called Simeri's. The drinks flow, the food is homemade, and the crowd is eclectic. When the weather is nice, Simeri's is a favorite among locals in-the-know. There is a huge outdoor patio where bands play and patrons party the night away. Arrive early if you want to get a table.

I've been here and should try to go more often. Its a nice place, especially when the weather is good.
